King Of The Stage.

Fredericton's music scene reached new heights in the past few months as local bands have played it out all to win tital as King Of The Stage, $5,000 in prize money, and plays The Fox FM. Nick Zildjian, owner of Nicky Zee's night club, and a Canadian Talent Agency began this battle-of-the-bands-type contest as a way to open peoples eyes to the talent that our community has. With help from major sponcers, Molson Canadian Rocks, Coors Light, Bacardi Canada and Fredericton's own Fox FM, the King Of The Stage has become a major success. Each week three bands would compete at Nicky Zee's to win audience and judges votes. One by one bands were eliminated until only three bands remained: Jesse Cox And The Hooche, The Nancies, and Fredericton's own She Roars! The Playhouse hosted the King Of The Stage finals on september 19th where, with a standing ovation, She Roars! won.
